Everglades Boulevard and Golden Gate Boulevard Center can be rezoned into commercial. This Center consists of all four quadrants at the intersection of Everglades and Golden Gate Boulevards (See Golden GateBoulevard/Everglades Boulevard Center Map on Colliers Website). The SW quadrant of the Center is approximately 5.46 acres in size and consists of Tract 96, Unit 81 of Golden Gate Estates.Criteria for land uses at the centers are as follows: Commercial uses shall be limited to intermediate commercial so as to provide for a wider variety of goods and services in areas that have a higher degree of automobile traffic. These uses shall be similar to C-1, C-2, or C-3 zoning districts outlined in the Collier County Land Development Code (Ordinance No. 04-41, adopted June 22, 2004, effective October 18, 2004)***Recognizing the need to provide basic goods, services and amenities to Estates residents, Neighborhood Centers have been designated on the Golden Gate Area Future Land Use Map. The Neighborhood Centerdesignation does not guarantee that commercial zoning will be granted. The designation only provides the opportunity to request commercial zoning.
