Please feel free to read a bit about my team, The “Miller” Team, and myself within the three sections, My Background, My (IT) Real Estate Experience and the Property Management section. Or, if you really don’t have time to read it all, I guess you can get away with reading the words that are in bold. :-)
My Background:
I have a degree in Computer Programming with a Hardware Certificate and Visual Basic Programmer Certificate. When I obtained my degree, in 2003, the only entry level IT jobs were data entry and technical support. Those jobs were not on the top of my list, so I continued to work and become a manager for Atlanta Mexican Foods, INC (a Yum! Brands franchise). I assisted the opening of 2 multi-brand restaurants, one of which having weekly sales over $45k. After four years of working in the food industry I wanted to become a small business owner. Tried a few different businesses until I found the one I really love to do, in Real Estate.
My (IT) Real Estate Experience:
I enjoy helping people, and as a Real Estate Agent, I get to help people with the largest investment that they'll make. In 2007, started my Real Estate career to form a team with Joan, my Mother. And in April 2010 we’ve added Haya Jaffal to our team who specializes in commercial, staging and represents buyers. We call ourselves The "Miller" Team. We work extremely well together and are always available.
When you look at Real Estate in today’s world, you’ll see that it’s driven by technology. Now, listing a property is much more than throwing a sign in the yard and running a newspaper advertisement. The “Miller” Team advertises listings and rentals all over the Internet. You can find me and our team on Facebook and other networking sites. My skills with technology and the Internet are unsurpassed and help both buyers and sellers. Buyers who become clients will receive electronic lists of properties via email, perfect for out-of-state referrals (they will feel like they are already here). Sellers are always delighted when I inform them their home / land / rental property will be advertised on about 30 different websites where some sites will have access to a virtual tour of their home.
Property Management:
February 2009, I was introduced to property management, which is now one of my favorite aspects of the Real Estate industry. In three months time, I have become the property manager for over 18 properties. I wouldn’t mind, at all, if I became a full-time property manager, so if you know anyone who has a rental property or someone who wants to invest some money in rental properties, please contact me. When talking about buying rental properties, the cost of the property (the list price) and what the monthly rent will be (researched), can be shown to the investor. I can research and accurately estimate the monthly rent for some properties. Knowing the amount of rent that can be collected and the monthly mortgage amount enables an investor to select the best rental property, and I am here to provide you with that information.
