Carteret

Carteret, named for Sir George Carteret, one of the first proprietors of New Jersey is separated from Staten Island by the Arthur Kill.  The town offers an older established community of quiet neighborhoods.  Carteret supports significant business and industry, including shopping centers.  Many of its older homes are ideal for renovation.
